Stillness: Whispers From Nature

Stillness, a poetic photo-book, features outdoor landscape images by photographic artist, Kent Burkhardsmeier, coupled with original poems written by the author. Each day during the initial self-quarantine period of the 2020 pandemic, Burkhardsmeier used his time to muse with previously photographed landscape images while writing its sister poem as whispered from nature to him.?The poems reveal the author's journey to discover comfort within nature-through her universal voice of presence, centering, and hope. The images offer space for the heart and mind to wander-carefree. Stillness is the first book in author's Whispers From Nature collection. The 96 page book features 37 fine art images and 37 original poems.
