Stony the Road

This was a cultural history more than a political history and because of the different focus, it would pair well with Foner's Reconstuction. I still need to get a political history for post-reconstruction that I think gives a good overview of the era.

The cultural history I think tells the story of white supremacy well and I think that is a story that needs to be told and understood well.
