With a full meal on the menu, Amy is feeling like Angus only sees her on the menu.
Amy's plans fall through for Thanksgiving and she is invited to her neighbor's, Mrs. Rafferty's. The only issue, Mrs. Rafferty does not know how to cook (laugh).
When the big day arrives, so does Mrs. Rafferty's nephew Angus. Angus takes one look at Amy and decides she is the menu. Amy does not mind though as the chemistry between her and Angus is combustible...there are just a few other problems first. One of them being that no one is as they seem.
I do not want to give too much a way as Taken on Thanksgiving (Rainshine, B07XGM6JLM, 2019) by Annabelle Winters is a novella. Winters takes us on a turkey run of twists and turns in Taken. At least we get the sex out of the way first (laugh).
Winters gives us a quick break from reality and fun holiday read with sexy characters. This is a quick read while you are shopping and waiting in line or waiting for that pie to bake. You will laugh, shake your head, and say, “Damn Angus you are good.”
I received a free copy of this book from Author Annabelle Winters and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.
