When a shiny idol is a sad mess in real life, can his number one fan help him stay upbeat? High schooler Utage Kinoshita works part-time as a housekeeper so she can afford her fangirl obsession with Tamon Fukuhara, her favorite member of boy band F/ACE. When work serendipitously sends her to the home of her idol, she discovers that the real Tamon couldn’t be more different from his wild and sexy onstage persona! As the F/ACE showdown progresses, Tamon and Ori’s rivalry transforms their relationship from a mere fan-service facade to…a true friendship?! Tamon starts acting odd, however, after overhearing Utage encouraging Ori. Could Utage’s fave singer actually be jealous?

ok ok so I'm not a fan of him saying he doesn't want to live if she isn't his fan and the other suicidal thought mentions and I REALLY hope that gets addressed and shown to be not healthy :/ I'm not holding my breath though because it is played off as comments the reader is supposed to laugh at. I see he isn't trying to manipulate her, just tell his feelings buuuutttt the boy needs help.
Besides that scene, I loved this book. It is funny, we see hints of romantic feelings blooming, and I adore his switches from confident persona to his gloomy anxious self that he feels comfortable showing her.
I'm so excited for the next volume! But yeah marking this from 5 -> 4 stars because of his “without you I feel like dying” comments.
