I like the fact that the BBF is bi. I don't like the ill-researched idea that because your parents make too much money you, as a teen, cannot get ANY scholarships. I wonder about the idea of taking a loan being ignored for, instead, a modeling career. One wherein the MC says that she knows she's good enough looking, though she doesn't like the way she looks. Oh my gosh. Done.
