Tempest Rising

This was crazy. I don't think I have ever read anything that advertises itself as a written version of a soap opera but wow what fun. I had a good time reading this and will definitely be reading the rest of the novellas.

This was kind of the perfect crazy drama I needed before going back to my more ~serious~ books.

Overall, all of the authors did a good job of building SO MANY characters in this small town and following all the secrets and betrayals. I don't particularly feel like I can really “root” for anyone because they're all kind of trash in their own ways(maybe Mallory? Celeste?) but that's what makes it fun right? :)
