The Beginning of Everything

May i be completely honest? Ezra is just meh. He is oblivious of so much it is a wonder he is not a hated self centered bastard of a character, but seriously, that's most of the redeeming factor here. He is 17, has not much of a personality or self awareness, and I must have been reading too many adult novels because all I could think of was, he could make a great hero ten years from now.

I could say it is because I'm too old for his obvious youth and freshness, but I've just finished two other YA that totally talked to me, so it was just Ezra's lack of dimension, truth and appeal.


I didn't hate it. But I'm very far from recommending it.
