The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse

I can see this being of great comfort to a variety of readers. I loved the art style, the fluidity between more bare bones ink sketches and full colour painting. My trouble is the faint rumours that reached me that I was trying to avoid from the hype train blasting by had me thinking I was going to encounter a new children's classic, and this reads more like the perennially valuable, but not new, cliched advice one finds in beginner philosophy/self-help books and the wall hanging plaque aisle in home decor shops, mixed with Christopher Robin's rare encounters with the denizens of the Hundred Acre Wood, rather than a narrative. To each their own. 🤷🏼‍♂️
