This cover is ok. The hero is supposed to have sandy blonde hair. Not sure the dude on the cover is a sandy blonde, but Liam does have a beard, so bonus points for that! The composition is good, and it makes great use of graphics as well.
I enjoyed this one. Not quite as much as book one it didn't have the same “oomph” as that one. Or maybe I was just expecting something a bit darker. In any case, I still found it to be an engaging read.
As always it was well written and well paced. The plot was interesting and kept me turning the pages. The sex scenes were hot. Both are with other people before they start a sexual relationship. I wouldn't say it was overly angsty or drama filled. It was nice catching up with the characters from book one. We are also introduced to Mike, Liam's best friend. He intrigued me, and I hope we will be seeing more of him. Nora remained a likable heroine for me. I was happy to see her get her HEA. Liam was equally enjoyable. He wasn't as dark a character as I thought he was going to be but he and Nora are a match made in kinky heaven. Lastly, it was all wrapped up in a sweet little epilogue. This gets two solid thumbs up from yours truly.
SIDE NOTE: I CANNOT wait for the next book THE BEST FRIEND but just saying I would not want to hang out with these people they sure do seem to be magnets for the psychos. lol
