very clearly inspired by gilmore girls, but fell short in terms of actually being a quality gilmore girls fanfiction.

the characters and setting could not be more lorelai gilmore and stars hollow, which i thought would be enough to entice me. however, unlike gilmore girls, it felt predictable and uninteresting in terms of platonic personal relationships, which is what the show really excelled at. i didn't really care for any of the characters besides the inn owner, and i really did not enjoy the romance plot. it's not surprising that i didn't care for the romance plot, but i might have if this was a properly written self-insert gilmore girls fanfiction, which unfortunately, it isn't.
