The Crown of Embers

Wow! I thought I really enjoyed the first one, but this second book surpasses it in just about every way. More magic, more romance, more laughter, more heartbreak and Elisa continues to be such an engaging and inspiring character - such a breath of fresh air for a YA novel. The pace of this novel is breakneck, from one thing to the next it had me turning the pages and dying to get back to the story when I had to do other things. Can't wait to move on to book 3!
