The Cuckoo's Calling

Sadly, I could not finish this book. I think part of the problem was that J.K. Rowling was trying to explain to me in detail the value in every day little things. With a wizarding world like harry potter, this works just fine, but sadly, with the regular world, this is just boring. Also, i don't feel like the main character, Corman Strike, had any real development or personality to him. all while I was trying to read this book, I just wanted it to end, so i simply stopped reading. I apologize to anyone who loved this book, but you clearly saw more in it than I did.
