The Dark Domain

The cover of this book, has always intrigued me but the look on the man's face creeps me out for some reason, i'm not sure why exactly.
Stefan Grabinski, is a lesser known Polish author of supernatural fiction, in a similar way to other well-known authors he suffered from poor health but it didn't affect his vivid imagination.
A few authors suffered from poor health and were bedridden at a young age, this helped them to cultivate, their vast, vivid imagination, their visionary, fictional stories and the worlds in which the fictional characters existed in.
It's sad that Stefan Grabinski's work, isn't more well-known, but if your a fan of supernatural horror, you'll like his short stories.
I personally think it's a wasted opportunity for a Polish author that wrote supernatural fiction short stories to not mention anything related to Polish mythology or folklore in their short stories.
Polish mythology & folklore is quite interesting I already like The Witcher series by the Polish author Andrej Sapkowski.
