A devil's bargain
Easily the shyest Wallflower, Evangeline Jenner stands to become the wealthiest, once her inheritance comes due. Because she must first escape the clutches of her unscrupulous relatives, Evie has approached the rake Viscount St. Vincent with a most outrageous proposition: marriage!
Sebastian's reputation is so dangerous that thirty seconds alone with him will ruin any maiden's good name. Still, this bewitching chit appeared, unchaperoned, on his doorstep to offer her hand. Certainly an aristocrat with a fine eye for beauty could do far worse.
But Evie's proposal comes with a condition: no lovemaking after their wedding night. She will never become just another of the dashing libertine's callously discarded broken hearts -- which means Sebastian will simply have to work harder at his seductions...or perhaps surrender his own heart for the very first time in the name of true love.

Lets be honest, I am not a fan of LK. I think she is over rated, I think compared to Tessa Dare and Joanna Lindsey her stories are lacking depth and emotion. All I get out of them are a lot of sex, and thats not really why I read. Sure, its nice when 2 characters have good chemistry, actually, I really like it when they have good chemistry. But sex is not chemistry. I hope we all know the difference.
That all being said, I do not remember anything about this book. Why did I rate it 2 stars? I have no idea. Good freaking question, but it was only a few days ago that I finished, so that is how mediocre i found this book.
Have fun reading it. Maybe I should have given it 1 star since I remember nothing.
Well... I guess I'm sucked into these historical romances by Lisa Kleypas now. This is my second book and it was just as fluffy and lovely as the first one I read. These could certainly turn into an easy comfort book series as not a lot happens in them. Nothing horrific anyways. You know they are going to have a happy ending.
