I read the description and thought: This is the kind of fantasy I like, so I'm sure I'm going to love this book.

But then, after 200 pages I wasn't amazed.

The world is utterly amazing. I imagined myself jumping like a happy rabbit, devouring with my eyes everything around and just enjoying the place. So I couldn't understand why Molly was more focus on looking at Dev instead of asking important questions. And talking about Molly, I really didn't like her. She was thinking of sex most all the time and that was very boring.

So, 80% of the book was a slow slow reading.

And then, the amazing chapter 23 came to save the day! From there, the story became adictive and I couldn't take my eyes off the book. The explanation of the world, how everything worked and the reason why Molly could travel there was surprising and delightful.

Of course, the ending was a complete shock because this is going to continue in the next book, so we'll see what happens!

I won this book through GoodReads and I thank to the author for providing me this copy but this fact didn't influence the review.
