The elixir of death

It is 1195 and King Philip of France has dispatched an alchemist to assist Prince John in his efforts to steal the throne, but the ship taking him is found shipwrecked, and a Norman knight is brutally murdered shortly after. It is up to county coroner Sir John de Wolfe to find a connection between the deaths.
