A princess lost her golden ball in the lake. A frog said he would retrieve it if she would let him live with her in the palace. She agreed and that night the frog showed up and ate and slept in her room. the next morning he was gone. The next two nights the same thing happened, but on the third morning a handsome young prince was in her room. He said she had broken the spell that made him a frog. They grew up together as playmates and when they were grown, they got married.
