The first of what I imagine will be many rereads this year. This book is slow burn, childhood friends to lovers and absolutely lovely. One of my favorite things in this book is how they don't just fall together. One of the guys actually goes to the other and says hey, I'm in love with you, do you love me back? And...I actually like that a lot. (Side note, I didn't realize I had already reread this book once before.)
Original Review:
I absolutely love this book - just the kind of romance I adore: all slow burn and sweet and based around a pair of childhood friends that fell out of touch due to distance and one boy's foolishness. The story concerns itself more with emotional intimacy over the physical kind and everything is based around a solid bond of friendship. (I just adored all the characters, too.)
