The Girl with All the Gifts

Its been weeks since I finished this book and I still can't stop recommending it to people. Normally speaking, I do not go in for zombie-like stories but this is not a zombie story. I hate to sound look a book review pull quote but it really is a genre-bending tale. The story goes in directions I never expected and left me in tears at the end. Really. What was the last zombie story that made you cry?
