This novel was a great idea with only mediocre execution, and that was the big disappointment. The fairy tales that the author scattered throughout the novel were FANTASTIC, so the fact that the novel itself seemed to drag soooo much made me feel so frustrated. I really wanted to love this one, and I just couldn't get there.
