This is a pretty solid introduction to Luther's thought and career. It doesn't go too far below the sruface, but it's not intended to. Filled with quotations from the Reformer and others, this covers all the essentials, and gives some indications where to go next when you're ready dig deeper.
Worth the read, especially for the curious about Luther.
