The House Across the Lake

When I first picked this book up I got 30% into it and my initial thought was I was enjoying it but at that point there wasn't really a whole lot of suspense/mystery. That did eventually come and I was really enjoying it and trying to guess who done it and of course me being me I was never able to narrow it down to one suspect but I did suspect the person in ended up being. However, that was another reveal that I didn't see coming and I didn't enjoy that at all. I'm totally able to suspend disbelief when it comes to books but this just seemed to come out of nowhere and I think it would have been so much better without it.
