Having just turned 18 years old, Robbie Tanner decides to visit his uncle Walt for the summer. Walt works for the State Forestry Service in British Columbia and is based in the small mountain town of Delacourt.
This remote mountain is a long way from civilisation, however Robbie is keen to experience life in the wilderness. But Walt has a secret that he’s determined to keep from Robbie – the men of these mountains aren’t exactly what they seem.
Walt’s nearest neighbours are two brothers –Aden and Casper. Big, powerful, brooding men – Robbie is initially intimidated by their overwhelming masculinity, but in a way finds them intriguing and irresistible. However Aden and Casper are werecats –able to take the form of a jaquar.
Walt tried to protect his naive young nephew but he is dealing with forces and desires that are beyond his control, and soon the werecats of Delacourt are hunting the prey that they seek for their sexual pleasure.
