This was such a sweet and savory finale to the Amish Marketplace quartet. I enjoyed the cousins' stories, and Leanna's was no exception. I liked very much that her love interest and she helped each other out with their rebellious and confused teenagers. Those dynamics were complex and beautiful and oh-so-sweet.
About the rebellion, I would have appreciated a much more original option than teen smoking. That one has been overdone by books and films.
If Leanna and Chester would have had a conversation early on, they could have easily solved their problems—but then we wouldn't have a story. Still, I feel like communication was lacking.
Those negatives aside, I adored this story and would gladly read it again.
