“The only difference between bright white and pitch black is illumination…”
OH. MY. GOD! I need more ASAP (Respectfully)! For a slow burn, I ate this book up and read it in one sitting. I Loved Quinn and her best friend Gia. Safe to say I hated Vivian, and Elaine though I liked her in the beginning, she really disappointed me towards the end, now I don’t feel bad that she didn’t end up with Landon the way she wanted. Elle did such a great job with this book she had me up at 3 am.
Quinn has a very traumatic past and is also drowning in medical debt. After her father’s passing, she needs to find a way to live, even if that means pausing her education to work full-time. Her friend Gia suggests signing up for The Quest if Quinn goes 30 days of being owned (literally) by a Knight, she gets a cash prize at the end, and all she has to do is whatever her knight tells her to do, no ifs, ands, or buts. Sounds simple enough, or is it? That ending… was unexpected, I mean I knew it was a cliffhanger but damn Landon, WTF? I’m so invested; March cannot come fast enough.
I recommend this book 100% especially if you love a good slow burn.
