The Cherokee Nation is being forced to moved onto reservations within the Oklahoma District. The remaining land is being opened up for homesteading. These are challenging times for the settlers, the Cherokee and Britt Claiborne, United Cherokee Nation Chief of Police and his wife Cherokee Rose.
