The Last Star

I'm really sad. Not good sad. Just sad. Estoy muy triste. No triste bien. Solo triste. This wasn't the grand magnificent closure I expected -the finale I desired, the finale this deserved- for the series. I feel it was... Insignificant. Cassie's dead, for example, didn't make me feel anything; the author could've easily been talking about peanuts and I would've reacted the same. Also, Marika's pregnancy felt so forced and out of place and like a desperate attempt to make a plot twist that just made me cringe. I'm not entirely sure this is a good thing, but I'd still recomend for anyone already reading the series because the story is good and you get to care for some of the characters - except book 2 and 3 Cassie, she's annoying and we hate her-. I don't know if it will be the case for anybody else, but I really connected with him and felt all his determination, his thrive, his struggle and his pain. He's my favorite character in the entre series and, in some way, I think he was the glue that kept the story together and made me want to finish the book. HE was humanity. No sé si será el caso para alguien más, pero realmente conecté con él y sentí toda su determinación, su inspiración, sus luchas y su dolor.
