Wow... The Loveliest Chocolate Shop in Paris was a beautiful story that made me weep and laugh and giggle and harumph... A real gamut of emotions.
Jenny Colgan is a new author for me to read. I chose this book from the library when I needed a “chocolate” titled book for a reading challenge. I'm glad I read it, even if it does have things I don't like about it. The story was told in a fun, lighthearted voice, and the part where Anna tripped had me laughing so hard my stomach ached.
This book reminded me of one of my favorite movies: Letters to Juliet. And the neatest thing about that is both of the vintage ladies were named Claire. How sweet is that?
*This book is general market, so there are expletives, innuendos, and other content I cannot endorse.
