The Lunatics

The Lunatics: Volume One

I'm invested.

2021 was about trying genres I'm not really into and also trying tropes within those genres I wasn't aware of. After giving it my all, I needed a break and decided I needed to embrace my roots once again and here we are... The Lunatics.

I really liked this world! The are unique aspects to this world in Layla's origin story, Michael's unexpected multi-dimensional personality/traits and the concept of going lunatic. This is a slow burn and that was quite okay with me as they try to get to know one another and navigate this new relationship. I love that they have each others back not only because their lives depend on it but because they genuinely respect one another and have quickly recognized their worth right away.

It is quite clear that their union isn't by accident and I'm curious to find out why and more specifically why between them two especially.

So I'm off to the Patreon even if that's not my preferred way of reading the series. I prefer the finished version but there is not one available yet.
