The Maze of Bones

The plot is reminiscent of that of [b:The Westing Game 902 The Westing Game Ellen Raskin http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1312497590s/902.jpg 869832] which is on my short list of Best Books of All Time. Unfortunately, this one draws everything out too slowly, especially for the number of clues there are in the game. It just seems like it was hastily written and I want to trust that everything is going to wrap up nicely at the end of this LENGTHY series, but I'm just not sure. I will say that the ending was fairly epic. It was a fast and easy read and the end left me wondering, so I probably will not drag my feet in getting the next in the series.
