The Mockingbirds

I liked this. I didn't love it. It's me, I kind of expected the Mockingbirds to be a bit more...“more”. The kids in the Chocolate War, now that was power. Overall the story was good, but I had a hard time with the idea of a romance after a date rape. This is just my opinion! Don't shoot me! I just thought that it would be the last thing on the mind of someone who had been violated (yes, I realize the author is a date rape survivor and I am not-again, just my opinion).
