That said! I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It had more depth than I have come to expect from historical romances. Georgie was likable and a true romantic at heart but not a pushover. I enjoyed Gavin's suffering as he fought his love as well. This was my first book by this author and I'll be sure to check out her other work.
