The One?!

At least the text is self-aware about the fact that it's getting convoluted. This is definitely a bridging book hopefully on the route to a satisfying end to this particular arc in the series. I'm hanging in there, but I do miss the simpler stories (with a smaller cast of characters) from earlier in the series.
