The Party Crasher

I've saved Sophie Kinsella's book for last because I thought with this very hard year I needed reassurance that at least the reading would be soothing and comfortable and make me happy.
And it did - she never fails. I do question Effie's maturity for the pink glasses with her family, but quickly forgave her because she's real - I hate it deeply when people in movies or books hear something and don't talk about it. It was so refreshing to see Effie tell people what her doubts were like a regular human being certainly would feel compelled to. I laughed and cried and cheered for her and there went my last reading for 2021. Thanks again Mrs Kinsella.
