The Raven Thief

( I received this an ARC book in return for an honest review) 

I thought the writing of flowed very well and the action was well written without being rushed but fast enough that it didn't feel like it was being dragged on. The ending was good and made me want to read the next book to find out what happens to the brothers and if the unintentional betrayal get resolved. 
I thought the relationships between the characters where well done and developed throughout the book. 

Even though I enjoyed the book and will recommend it to other people I feel that the environment the book was set in could have been expanded on. The places weren't really described and I wasn't able to picture them easily. I didn't quite understand the mention of the fae courts and what they had to do with the story. 

For a debut book I thought it was good and I can definitely see the potential for this series and I'm very much looking forward to read the Ashley's future books.
