The Seeds of Power (Russian Quartet)

This is the first of a new saga depicting the changes in Russian society between 1853 and 1953.

Wounded at the Battle of Balaclava, Lieutenant Colin MacLain finds himself sucked into the world of the Russian aristocracy. Colin finds himself sucked into the world of the mid-nineteenth-century Russian aristocracy and becomes entangled with the three Bolugayevski sisters. Into this world comes American Charles Cromb whose actions threaten to destroy the family.
