The story sisters

I finished it–listening to the audiobook, occasionally looking at the hardcopy I took out of the library–but it's definitely not my kind of book. Maudlin and melodramatic, it's the story of three sisters who have very different paths in life, all affected by something that happens to one of them as a child. While the premise is intriguing, I never find myself carrying much for the girls or the losses they all suffer.
