The Surgeon

The story follows a surgeon named Anne who has an impeccable record. That all changes when she loses her first patient, someone that she recognises. Paula, Assistant State Attorney who is investigating the death of Anne's patient has her own agenda. The questions of who the patient is and if Anne could have prevented his death are ones that follow us throughout the book.

The Surgeon was a fun read. Thrillers are one of my most favourite genres, especially psychological ones and this one delivered a great story leaving me wanting more.

It did take me a while to get into this book but once I did, I didn't want to put it down. It's fast paced and tied all together at the end perfectly. I'm interested to read more from this author.
