Postman Pat and his cat, Jess, are off to deliver the mail in the fog. Pat almost delivers a letter to a scarecrow; the fog is very thick. Then he loses his cat. Later, he finds Jess and they both are lost. Only the church bells can guide them home.
I have searched for this book for many years. Finally today I resorted to listening to a Postman Pat book on YouTube.
