Memories from my childhood tell me that I enjoy stories from [a:Patricia MacLachlan 29182 Patricia MacLachlan http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1311807739p2/29182.jpg] and I've been excited to read new stories. [b:The Truth of Me 16240743 The Truth of Me Patricia MacLachlan http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1359980555s/16240743.jpg 22246589] is very short, but very full. I was able to read an advanced reader copy, mine was paperback, but I believe that final press print will be hardcover. The cover is attractive and it's a good story for boys and girls although the main character is a boy, his dog and his grandmother. It's a different story, but I think it is a good one for young readers to experience as it might show a different angle to tough situations of family to understand. All in all the theme is learning to admit, “I love you”. Thanks to HC for providing an ARC for review. posted: http://creativemadnessmama.com/blog/2013/06/24/the-truth-of-me/
