The Twig Man

A missing sister, a creepy legend, and a mysterious new friend.

“The Twig Man” by Sana Rasoul is a spooky tale about a boy trying to find his sister, Lana. Everyone thinks she ran away from home, but Ari believes otherwise. It's hard to convince the grown-ups of the truth. Ari feels alone, but a new friend is on his side and also believes in the Twig Man... but there's something weird about this new friend.

One sibling dynamic I am tired of reading and seeing is where they don't get along, but luckily not in this book. It's a refreshing take. Middle-grade fans are sure to appreciate this story. Overall, it is an enjoyable read.
