It was quite easy to fall in love with Willa and Grady and to root for them both. Grady's bogus workarounds for circumventing Willa's two-date rule made me smile - especially when Willa didn't put up all that much of a fight. :)

I also adored the supporting cast, Willa's and Grady's friends and family - especially Grady's parents - and I loved how Kayla and Aislin always had Willa's back, even if that included some tough love.

While the story exhibits Tawna Fenske's trademark humor and had me grinning or snort-laughing quite often, it is also dealing with more serious issues like substance abuse or mental illness. My heart broke for Willa (I never thought a game of Monopoly would bring me to tears, but there you have it...), and it was gratifying to see her take on her challenges.

I loved how it all came together in the end, and I'm looking forward to reading more in the series (I'm looking at you, Kayla!).

5/5 heart-melting stars
