First, I have to start by saying that I liked this book very much because I read it as the author's experience. While his journey is true, I took it more like I would do any biography or novel, not as a biblical truth. Do I agree with him? Not really, mostly not actually but that's okay. It sure made me think even more about how to view other faiths, being informed about them and accepting them are two very different things. A very entertaining author, speaks things as they are and that is refreshing. If you happen to come to this book thinking that as a pastor, he shouldn't be doing this or that or have a predetermined idea how living like Jesus should look like for everyone, you will be dissapointed. If you take this book more like you would any other autobiography or so - thinking that people experience various things, things you may not, you'll be okay. Did it surprised me that a pastor would do certain things? Yes, but why should I judge him or anyone for that? It's not my place to do. Just enjoy a very well written book because it's too funny not to read it.
