Well, I am just going to give up on this book, and on the series overall.
Maybe it is the change from a single POV to multiple POV's, or maybe it is the five-year jump in time, or it could also be that the third book is rated significantly lower than this one. Whatever the reason, I am giving up on this book, and the series overall. If Tower Lord is any indication, then perhaps Anthony Ryan just isn't for me.
