Trial By Fire

I especially enjoyed having an older hero and heroine in this short story. Also, it is well-written, with a fully-formed story in a few pages. I enjoyed the mystery of the arsonist and the chase to catch them. And it was both heart wrenching and heartwarming to read of the death of Savannah's son and her efforts to bring her three grandchildren into her life and help them adjust.
