I must confess this is not the first time I tried this series. I started with the sleepover one, and I really didn't like it. I picked this one up because I am making a scary book display, and started to read it.
As other reviewers have stated: this one is filled with fun chills and a spooky setting that will remind readers of early Goosebumps and Christopher Pike. This is a great Halloween read for the early teen,tween crowd. There is also a rather surprising and satisfying ending. Good read.
