Twisted Perfection

Abbi Glines has done it again... PERFECTION is the best way to explain her writing! After falling in love with Blaire and Rush in “Fallen Too Far,” and “Never Too Far,” I couldn't help but fall in love with the supporting characters in the book. I was so excited to hear that Woods Kerrington the man who gave Blaire a job when she needed it and always was there to protect and support her would be getting his own story. I never expected where this story would go but I felt Glines did an amazing job of bringing the perfect girl into Woods' heart to make him realize what was worth fighting for in this life.

Della Sloane stated it best when she said, “I was Della Sloane and I was on a road trip to find myself.” On that road trip she never expected to run into the road block known as Woods Kerrington. Della has lost her family and has grown up more sheltered than most would believe. The only person she has on her side is her friend Braden who is fiercely protective of Della even though she once believed Della was a vampire. On her journey she never thought to figure out how to pump gas but that little mistake brought her to the man that would change everything. Woods may have believed this beautiful woman would be just what he needed... a one night stand but he soon realizes she's the one girl he can't get off his mind.

After a one night stand both Woods and Della haven't forgotten each other and somehow Della's journey brings her right back to Woods and this time Woods isn't just going to walk out of her life and forget about her because he has realized that when it comes to Della is just isn't an option. But with Woods having his dad breathing down his neck he knows in order to take over the family business an arranged marriage is in the near future. Will he choose the woman who he despises and say “I do,” or will he have what it takes to stand up to his father? Will Della choose not to live her life fully because she's afraid to become what her mother once was? Or will they both realize that together they can have it all?

Woods: “The relief that came with the acceptance that I wasn't going to give up something that could be the best thing I'd ever found in order to fulfill my father's orders was incredible. I could take a deep breath with ease.”Della: “In my search to find myself, I'd found so much more. I knew now why I wanted to live. I understood love. I had found it.”

Glines did a wonderful job of making you understand how hard it is for Della just to get through the day and not feel like she has to be “caged.” She made you realize that even though Woods has a tough exterior a woman can make him have feelings he never expected and would force him to make a decision between the future he has always wanted and the woman he wants nothing more than to make her feel safe in his arms.

If you are a fan of Abbi Glines and have read any of her wonderful books this definitely should be rated “S” for SUPER SEXY and will leave you wanting more! Woods Kerrington is definitely moving up the book boyfriend list. He's hot, sexy, and has a well-defined body with a little scruff and he knows what he wants! I am definitely looking forward to seeing where Della and Woods romance goes!
