Vanishing Grace: What Ever Happened to the Good News?

Book Review: Vanishing Grace: Whatever Happended to the Good News by Philip Yancey - three of the four sections of the book were excellent. The third section, on working out a practical theology I think was too wrapped up in assumptions that are not necessarily held by the people that Yancey wants to communicate Grace to. But on the whole, this is a book well worth reading. The first section I would rate 5 stars, no question. The second and fourth sections are solid 4 star work. The third section I would put at 2.5 stars. So I am rounding this to a 4 star book.
