Waiting for "Superman"

Short review: I hope that the movie sparks a debate on the role of public education. But I don't have a lot of hope much will be done. I have not seen the movie yet, but was hoping that the relevant statistics would be more thoroughly documented in this companion book. They were not. The book was mostly essays from a variety of different perspectives on education. It is not a bad overview of education issues, but not in depth and not all that broad.
