From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Heather Graham comes a new story in her Krewe of Hunters series… Devin Lyle and Craig Rockwell are back, this time to a haunted castle in Ireland where a banshee may have gone wild ----- or maybe there's a much more rational explanation ----- one that involves a disgruntled heir, murder, and mayhem, all with that sexy light touch Heather Graham has turned into her trademark style. **Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

This was a really good read. It takes place in Ireland around Castle Karney and the legend of the banshee. Someone is killing off members of the Karney family, and Devin and Rocky have to solve the mystery.
I've mentioned in other reviews that this author writes a fabulous paranormal mystery, and I think her books shine best when they already involve an established couple (that may be only the novellas) They don't have the forced and awkward romance angle to them that takes away a bit from my enjoyment of the novel.
This author is the queen of twists and turn and red herrings in the stories, so I often find myself surprised by who the baddie(s) is/are. Alas in this one I an excited to say I TOTALLY NAILED IT! I had this person pegged from the get go. Though there was a little added extra I didn't see coming, but GO ME!!
